Our
management team is well aware of the need to manage staff professionally
and efficiently. To enable them to do so, we have gone to great
lengths in developing sophisticated management systems. Supporting
these systems is our 24-hour, state of the art control room which
monitors and records data vital to the precise evaluation of all
aspects of our management systems. This evaluation process ensures
optimum efficiency at all times.
The
City Security Services management team are constantly reviewing
our operating procedures to reflect the changing needs and requirements
of our clients. Our staff are therefore always able to execute their
duties with the utmost efficiency.
To
support our on-site security, our Mobile Supervisors and Contract
Managers conduct night and day visits. These visits can last up
to two hours, during which time all aspects of the service are scrutinised,
and result in a full report being produced. These procedures allow
for constant assessment and improvement of our services, along with
offering excellent support to our on-site staff and promoting a
strong team spirit.
Control
The 'nerve centre' of our operations is our sophisticated control
room. The high technology utilised here gives us the very best management
and control over every aspect of our service. From rostering, booking
on/off and check calls, through to payment of security officers and customer
invoicing - all vital data gathered at our control room is checked
and verified on a daily basis by our Control Room Manager.

Our
dedicated Mobile Supervisors and Contract Managers routinely familiarise
themselves with all aspects of duties and requirements for any site
under their control. This standard policy allows us to make prompt,
informed decisions in any situation. It also ensures complete and
immediate back up is available to be deployed on site at all times.

Monitoring 
A major concern for all security organisations is that of effective
monitoring of staff on site. City Security Services addresses
the issue by utilising the latest in information technology and
by implementing stringent site monitoring procedures as outlined
below:
- All staff
book on and off duty through masterlink which ensures security
officers are on site by telephone number recognition
- Staff also
conduct hourly check calls
- Reverse
check calls are carried out from the control room to sites
- A Computerised
Patrol Verification System (The Pipe) is utilised
- Regular
inspection/visits are carried out by Mobile Managers/Contract
